Our QH5 U model is a portable metal hardness tester that operates on the UCI or Ultrasonic Contact Impedance method. It is factory calibrated for steel allowing for precise measurements in thin and light weight parts as well as in large parts leaving an indentation that is practically invisible.The native hardness unit for the QH5 U is HV (Vickers) with immediate conversions according to ASTM E140 standards to other hardness units such HB (Brinell), HRB (Rockwell B), HRC (Rockwell C) and HS (Shore).
All QH5 Series models include a Datalogger to store up to 32000 measurements that can be sent to a PC via USB using DMQ DataCenter software available at no extra charge.
